House Petrig

Phase 1

This new home required us to remove 1 of the 4 bedrooms to increase the size of the main seating area and to maximise the stunning sea view!

A new “I” beam was installed as the existing beam was supported by the wall that was to be removed…..

Once walls were down, floor levels had to be altered to line up with rest of house.

Once the job was done , we were left with a beautiful wide open space.

Phase 2 (Fire pit)

This was a very new experience for us, a 6 round meter in diameter fire pit in the front garden.
We are still adding to this…. standby for updates!

Phase 3 (Front door)

Here the customer wanted to extend the area  inside the house by completely removing the front door, removing the wall in the court yard and fitting the new oak front door in line with the back wall.

This increased the area of their entrance hall by almost 12m²!

A large steel ‘I’ beam had to be fitted to take the weight of the roof AND the new beam and block flat roof.

A 1m x 2m skylight was then fitted to bring in soft natural light into the home.

A new entrance door, made from solid oak was fitted and coated with a white rubio oil.

This turned out to be a fantastic project.

Phase 4 (Final phase)

The final phase of this project involved the completion of the fire pit.

The pergola and the 100kg 314 stainless steel suspended extractor.

The finished product looks fantastic!
